Mrs. Henry Manross

  Mrs. Densie E. Manross, 76, of Forestville, N. Y., died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walton Smith of Forestville, with whom she had made her home the past few years.
  She was born April 11, 1882, the daughter of Charles and Mary Nason. She was married to Henry Manross of Fagundas, who preceded her in death in 1951.
  She was a member of the Lakewood Methodist Church in Lakewood, N. Y., and was very active in her own church when she lived at Fagundas, where she had been superintendent of the Sunday school for 25 years.
  She started the first “Old Home Day” at Fagundas and was president of the Fagundas Ladies Aid and Fagundas Cemetery Association.
  She leaves the following children: Glenn Manross of Lewis Run, Harry Manross of Fagundas, Howard Manross of Lakewood, N. Y., Richard Manross of Sugar Grove, Dr. Lawrence Manross of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Mabel Smith of Forestville, N. Y.; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and three brothers, Edward Nason of Warren, Leonard Nason and Benjamin Nason, both of Pleasantville, and two sisters, Mrs. Harrriet Sorrell of Pomona, Calif., and Mrs. Lillian Weldon of Grand Valley.
  Friends may call at the Sage Funeral Home in Tidioute starting 7 to 9 o‘clock tonight. The funeral service will be at the funeral home at 2:30 p. m. Sunday. Interment will be in Fagundas Cemetery.
